The modern day Indiana Jones, Robert Cornuke, travels to the Holy Land to find the true location of the Temple.
For centuries, scholars, theologians, and world leaders have assumed that the Temple Mount in Jerusalem was the sacred site of Solomon’s Temple. But what if that assumption is wrong? In A City Lost, renowned investigator and biblical explorer Robert Cornuke sets out on a daring expedition to uncover the truth.
Guided by ancient texts, cutting-edge archaeology, and the insights of leading scholars, Cornuke follows a trail of evidence that leads away from the traditional Temple Mount and into the heart of the City of David. Through historical records, biblical accounts, and on-site discoveries, the film explores the possibility that one of the most sacred locations in history has been misidentified for generations.
The implications are profound. If Solomon’s Temple was never located on the Temple Mount, then the geopolitical and religious tensions surrounding the site could be based on a fundamental misunderstanding. Could modern conflicts over the Temple Mount be fought over a location that never housed the temple? Could the answers to some of history’s most pressing religious and political questions lie hidden beneath the City of David?
Featuring interviews with leading archaeologists, historians, and biblical scholars, A City Lost presents a compelling case that challenges long-held beliefs and invites viewers to reconsider the historical and spiritual landscape of Jerusalem.
The primary audience for A City Lost are history and archaeology enthusiasts, biblical scholars, theologians, Christians and Jews interested in Biblical history, Middle East researchers, and general documentary viewers.
